Covasant Technologies has opened a new AI Innovation Center in Hyderabad, inaugurated by Shri D. Sridhar Babu, Minister for Information Technology and Industries, Government of Telangana. The facility will serve as Covasant's primary hub for Agentic AI research, engineering, and customer co-innovation.
Hyderabad, India — December 2025. The inauguration underscores Covasant's deepening commitment to India's rapidly expanding AI economy and to Telangana's emergence as a global AI destination. The new center brings together engineering, research, and customer-facing teams under one roof to accelerate the build-out of the Covasant Agent Management Suite and related industry agent libraries.
Telangana is building one of the world's most ambitious AI ecosystems, and Covasant's new innovation center reinforces Hyderabad's position as a global hub for responsible, production-grade AI. We welcome Covasant's commitment to creating skilled employment and advancing the state's AI capabilities.
A Dedicated Home for Agentic AI Innovation
The center is designed as a working lab for enterprise Agentic AI. Teams focused on agent engineering, responsible AI governance, data engineering, and industry verticals — Banking, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Media & Communications — collaborate onsite with customers to co-build agents for their highest-value workflows.
The facility also houses dedicated zones for the Covasant AI Agent Control Tower program, where observability and orchestration capabilities are developed for customers managing heterogeneous agent fleets in production.
India's deepest enterprise AI talent pool, in one city.
Hyderabad combines world-class engineering talent with a pro-innovation policy environment and direct access to global enterprise customers operating across BFSI, healthcare, and manufacturing.
The Hyderabad Innovation Center is where our platform meets our customers. It's a working facility — not a showpiece — where enterprise teams co-build industry agents, test governance in live workflows, and validate that Agentic AI can run in mission-critical environments.
Engineering Talent and Community Impact
The new facility is expected to add over 500 engineering and research positions over the next phase, spanning Agentic AI engineering, platform engineering, data science, and industry solutions. Covasant is also partnering with regional universities to host hackathons, research collaborations, and early-career programs — building on the company's inaugural AI hackathon with VIT-AP in July 2025.
